The Engine-Ear Electronic Stethoscope is used to amplify sound during diagnosis or verification of proper engine operation.
The ultra sensitive microphone and amplifier provides a full range of sound without missing any frequencies. Troubling sounds are isolated, with no background noise bleeding in, allowing the user to pin-point the exact noise and location of the issue.
The stethoscope will pick up issues including worn bearings and bushings, noisy valves and lifters, broken or worn gear teeth, faulty fuel injectors, wind or air leaks and annoying squeaks or rattles.
